Blodslitet 2011
The 44th Blodslitet will be held by Fredrikstad Skiklubb on Saturday 15th October 2011.
Status
The race is:
* Norwegian Championship (NM) ultralong for seniors and juniors (these classes are open for foreign competitors and they are entitled medals)
* World Ranking Event
* Craft Cup for seniors and juniors.
* NOF's trophy in D15-16

Terrain
The terrain varies from open in the north to more detail-rich in the southern part. The runnability is good. The terrain is embargoed until 15 th October. The embargoed area can be seen at www.orientering.no. Blodslitet was held in the same
terrain in 2002.
Entry
Entry on www.blodslitet.no or via Eventor. The entry deadline is 4th October.
Late entry in the Championship classes possible until 14.oct.
Late entry in ordinary classes
is accepted until 11th October but costs an additional fee. After 11th October entry on the day is possible depending on the number of spare maps
available. For the open classes H/D /N-Åpen entry on the day is available right up until one hour before the start.
All classes will use EMIT punching and EMIT- bricks can be hired for 50 NOK.
H/D21- and H/D17-20 shall not use display bricks. Remember to add hired bricks at entry.
Entry Fees
N Åpen: 130 NOK,
H/D11-16: 230 NOK (late entry fee for > 12year old, 100 NOK),
H/D35+: 330 NOK (late entry fee 200 NOK),
H/D Åpen: 330 NOK (no late entry fee)
H/D17-20 and H/D21: 400 NOK (late entry fee 200 NOK)
Directions
The event will be signposted from the highway 110 about 3km NW of the city of Fredrikstad. The event centre is Trondalen sport facilities. It is max
1000m walk from the car parking to the event centre.

Start
There are mass starts for all classes. The start will be in the event centre with the first mass start at 10:00am.
The Ragnar Weum Prize
This year’s race is the first of the Ragnar Weum’s Prize. The runners who have the best cumulative results in H/D21 in 2011, 2012, 2013 will win 30
000 NOK each. The winners of the H/D21 classes this year will win 6 000 NOK.
Prizes
There are prizes for all classes at Blodslitet. This year, altogether the prizes are worth around 175 000 NOK. There is an extra prize in H/D21 and
H/D17-20 for the runners who are leading before the last map change.

Remember that entry fees detailed above are given in Norwegian Kroner. Foreign clubs must add 50 NOK extra on to the total group entry fee to cover
the cost of exchanging the money into Norwegian Kroner.
Accomodation
Accomodation is available in classrooms at Rød School, Gressvik for 100 NOK. If you would like to reserve this accomodation please do so when you
complete your entry for the race. Rød School is situated about 1500m from the event centre.
Showers and Changing
There are indoor showers available at the event centre.
Children’s play park
A children’s park is available for children older than 2 years. It is possible to bring pushchairs from the car parking to the event centre.
